Cybercrime Investigation Training for Eurasian Region: An introduction to digital forensics with a focus on malware analysis

Cybercrime Investigation Training for Eurasian Region named “An introduction to digital forensics with a focus on malware analysis” was held in Tehran, Iran, 18 – 22 September 2017 by the focused of IGCI and the partnership of Cyber Police of I.R of Iran and participated by the police representatives from Iran, Spain, Singapore, Indonesia and Bangladesh.


Some topics taught in this 5 day training are as below:
-    Number systems
-    Linux command line
-    Basics of internet technology
-    Open Source Intelligence
-    Deep Web and Dark Web
-    Dynamic analysis of malware


Colonel Hosein Ramezani, The Head of International and Legal Affairs Department in Cyber Police of I.R of Iran indicated that the continuity of such specialized training workshops is necessary and said that cyber police of I.R of Iran is always ready to cooperate in various plans of INTERPOL in the area of combating cybercrime.
